Manual 1st Clicks

The Internet and the invention of the personal computer are perhaps the most significant creations of the 20th Century, offering unprecedented communication tools that link families and friends around the world. However, the Internet can also be a seedy and dangerous place for people of all ages, especially children and teens. But fear not parents, 1st Clicks is the perfect content filter. It´s easy-to-use and totally free and it was intended for families and kids in particular.
Once we run the program three big boxes will be displayed.

In each module we´ll be able to block Web Sites, Games and Programs. Simply click on each box to add Web Sites, Games and Programs to the blacklist.
But first, we need to do is set up the program by clicking on "To change the program setting" to access the configuration window.

Upon entering the program for the first time, it is advisable to set up your administrator password. This password will be elicited when you try to change any of the settings of the program, and when you try to exit the program to return to the standard desktop.

To specify which games can be accessed through 1st Clicks, first click on here next to 'to change the program settings....'.
To set which games can be accessed, click on Allowed Games List to go to the game editor box, then on Add. Input the name of the game, its path name, and if required, a description of the game. Click on OK to add the game onto the 1st Clicks desktop. To leave the box, press Close.

The same process is repeated for Programs. To set which programs can be accessed, click on Allowed Programs List to go to the program editor box, then on Add. Input the name of the program, its path name, and if required, a description of the program. Click on OK to add the program onto the 1st Clicks desktop. To leave the box, press Close.

And once more, the process is repeated for web sites. To set which Websites can be accessed, click on Allowed Programs List to go to the Website editor box, then on Add. Input the name of the Website, its path name, and if required, a description of the Website. Click on OK to add the Website onto the 1st Clicks desktop. To leave the box, press Close.

Once we completed all Allowed Games/Programs/Web sites lists, simply run any application by double-clicking on it.
Para abrir cualquier página o ejecutar cualquier aplicación basta con hacer doble clic y listo.

In order to return to your standard desktop, and to regain full access to your computer, click on here next to 'To close 1st Clicks'. Input your administrator password, and the 1st Clicks desktop will immediately be removed from your screen. Now that you have 1st Clicks, you can feel safer and let you kids use the PC without worrying about harmful content.
